This is how Szymon Urban M.D. describes a visit to Prague:
Training trip to the University of Economics in Prague took place from February 28 to March 4. For 5 days, we had the opportunity to learn and cooperate with specialists in the field of Data Science. Thanks to the involvement of prof. Petr Berk, prof. Jan Rauch and Dr. David Chudan, we were able to familiarize ourselves with the basics of using tools such as RapidMiner, BigML and LispMiner. The performed analyzes will form the basis of future publications and will also serve as a model for the implementation of machine learning tools in further research at the Institute of Heart Diseases.
We are glad because not only the previous HeartBIT_4.0 listeners took part in the trip. The group was enlarged by another young trainee doctor, two experienced cardiologists, and a 2nd year medical student. HeartBIT_4.0 once again showed the paths to the development of AI in medicine and health care.
